We took a walk on Mt. Baldy tonight.
I went up this afternoon with a few friends and saw the view for the first time and they said it was beautiful at sunset so Jon and I venutred up there tonight
for a walk. Here is what we saw while walking around - we are going to go another day and hike to the top of the mountain! In the first photo you see what is called termination dust coming down the mountains - that means we will be getting snow in a few weeks.
The weather was a brisk 45 degrees but it really didn't feel that cold - you will notice I am in shorts and wasn't freezing!!

What a beautiful photo of sunset in AK! You can now forecast the arrival of snow. You have provided a new term for me to think about "termination dust."
Obviously you are becoming use to AK's climate if 45 degrees is shorts weather. Hope you, Jon, and Molly Frances are doing well as fall starts to sit in up north.
