Cold Stone Christmas

For Christmas we received a Cold Stone gift card.  If you know me you know I am frugal and try to make things last as long as possible.  Tonight we enjoyed our second outing after a lazy rainy Saturday hanging out in the house - and we have enough to enjoy one more outing!!  Molly got her own kids size dark  chocolate with gummy bears.  I originally ordered her chocolate but she insisted on dark chocolate.  Who knew she would now a difference but it was pretty important to her.
I love getting to do fun outings as family - we told the girls we were going on an adventure if they finished dinner and they did that fast.  After being stuck in the house all day they loved getting the ice cream and Riley was even willing to share with her sister.

Walmart Adventure

Last night we took family adventure to Walmart.  Jon came up with a list of things we had to accomplish in order to get ice cream at Sweet Frog.  Molly was excited and invited her friend Mikeala to join us.  They all screamed and laughed on the drive to Walmart.  It was so fun to watch and be apart of.

Measuring how long we were together.
After this M asked if all people do this and we said only silly ones:)

Polar Plunge

A post picture with some of the ladies from my team.  Convinced 10 ladies to join me jumping in Smith Lake to be part of the polar plunge.  The water was 48 degree and official polar temp is 49 so we made it!

Driving the Truck

Tonight Jon left the truck out of the garage because a few toys were in the way.  After dinner when it was time to pull it in for the night the big two wanted to join Jon.  He was convinced it wouldn't be much fun and was going to try and do it without them but they grabbed shoes and joined him.  Being the best dad every he backed out with them driving in his lap and did a circle around the cul-da-sac then pulled in the garage.  From the screams of delight you would think they were given the world tonight.  Coming in the house they were smiles from ear to ear and each had a story of the awesome adventure, Riley's was more of just screaming and smiling since words aren't her thing just yet.
